LOCAL TRANSPORTATION TO SUNNYVALE TEMPLE COMMUNITY HALL
By Car: From US 101 Going South: After exiting U.S. 101 at highway 237 (Alviso/Milpitas), and traveling a mile and a half on 237, take the second exit—Fair Oaks Avenue. Stay right
(on Persian Drive West) and follow the road around to the right. At first you will be following West Persian Drive, but that changes to East Persian Drive. Keep going right. (You’ll be parallel to the highway), but going in the opposite direction. The Temple (and the Community Hall) is on the left side of the road. (You can park in the lot where several stores—including an Indian Grocery store, are located—just before the Temple driveway.)
When leaving the Temple: Start out going East (right) on East Persian Drive toward Fair Oaks
(stay right) and turn right onto Fair Oaks Avenue. Cross Tasman Drive and continue straight another few blocks, where you will see signs for U.S. 101, of both South (toward San Jose) and North (toward San Francisco)—regardless of what the sign says..

Train: From San Francisco, you can take the Cal Train to Mt. View ($12 for a day pass-round trip). Leaving SF, the a.m. trains are:6:11 am (arr. Fair Oaks, 7:07); Leaving SF 6:44 a.m. (arr. Fair Oaks, 7:38); and Leaving SF 6:59 a.m. (arr. Fair Oaks 7:44) Then you would transfer to the Winchester Lightrail --15 min. trip to Fair Oaks ($2). Get off at Fair Oaks, and it is a 10 min. walk to the Sunnyvale Hindu Temple's Community Hall. Last Lightrail train at night back to Mt. View lvs. at 10:16 p.m.(arr. Mt. View 10:33 p.m.) Transfer to Cal Train to SF: Lvs. 10:49 pm, arr SF 12"01 a.m.
