           One Day Silent Meditation Retreat
        Washington, DC

         Saturday, July 10, 2010

"It is meditation that will liberate us from the sensory world

and give us the experience of the pure Divine Consciousness."

Based on the success of last year's retreats, Amma has graciously offered to continue having One Day Retreats as part of her 2010 Tour. They are being offered so that more people can take advantage of this precious time with Amma in a retreat setting without disrupting their busy schedules. The retreats will provide an invaluable opportunity for devotees to deepen their meditation practice and to listen to the inspirational wisdom of Amma's divine discourses.

We cordially extend Amma's invitation to join Her for a one day silent meditation retreat at the The Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington. All meditators, from beginners to those with an established practice, will benefit from the special retreat atmosphere. All will be spiritually nourished by Amma's serene presence, silent meditations, discourses and spiritual chanting.

Many cities will have meditation retreats during Sri Karunamayi's tour of North America. Please register early since these retreats tend to fill up fast. A light lunch and snacks will be provided as part of the registration fee.

There will be also be a Silent Meditation Retreat during the Guru Purnima Celebration in New York at the end of the tour.
