Based on the success of last year's retreats, Amma has graciously offered to continue having One Day Retreats as part of her 2010 Tour. They are being offered so that more people can take advantage of this precious time with Amma in a retreat setting without disrupting their busy schedules. The retreats will provide an invaluable opportunity for devotees to deepen their meditation practice and to listen to the inspirational wisdom of Amma's divine discourses. We cordially extend Amma's invitation to join Her for a one day silent meditation retreat at the Unity Church of Portland. All meditators, from beginners to those with an established practice, will benefit from the special retreat atmosphere. All will be spiritually nourished by Amma's serene presence, silent meditations, discourses and spiritual chanting. Many cities will have meditation retreats during Sri Karunamayi's tour of North America. Please register early since these retreats tend to fill up fast. A light lunch and snacks will be provided as part of the registration fee. There will be also be a Silent Meditation Retreat during the Guru Purnima Celebration in New York at the end of the tour. Details will be posted at a later date. |

Unity Church of Portland Coming from the East: Take I-205 to I-84. Go west on I-84 (towards Portland) to the 44th street exit. Go left to 39th avenue. Turn left on 39th (going South) approximately one mile to Stark Street. Turn left (going east) on Stark Street to the church on 45th Street. Coming from the West: Take I-5 to I-84. Go east on I-84 (towards Sandy and Troutdale) to 39th street exit. Turn Right on 39th street (going south) approximately one mile to Stark Street. Turn left (going east) on Stark Street to the church on 45th Street. Coming from the North or South on I-5: Go east on Hwy. 84/Banfield until you reach Exit 2-NE 39th Ave. Turn right on 39th Ave. and continue going south until you reach Stark St. Go left on Stark St. and continue going east until you reach Unity Church.
