Tucson One Day Silent Meditation Retreat

           Saturday, April 11, 2009

"It is meditation that will liberate us from the sensory world

and give us the experience of the pure Divine Consciousness."

Based on the success of last year's retreats, Amma has graciously offered to continue having One Day Retreats as part of her 2009 Tour. They are being offered so that more people can take advantage of this precious time with Amma in a retreat setting without disrupting their busy schedules. The retreats will provide an invaluable opportunity for devotees to deepen their meditation practice and to listen to the inspirational wisdom of Amma's divine discourses.

We cordially extend Amma's invitation to join Her for the one day silent meditation retreat at the Four Points Sheraton in Tucson. All meditators, from beginners to those with an established practice, will benefit from the special retreat atmosphere. All will be spiritually nourished by Amma's serene presence, silent meditations, discourses and spiritual chanting.

There will be fifteen one day retreats during Sri Karunamayi's tour of North America. Please register early since these retreats tend

to fill up fast. A light lunch and snacks will be provided as part of the registration fee.

Please note that there will be a weekend Silent Meditation Retreat as part of the Guru Purnima celebrations in Colorado from

July 3 - 5. Details will be posted at a later date.

Please note:

The I-10 freeway is under construction now and all exits between Prince Road and 29th Steet are closed (maybe 8 miles-most of central Tucson).  From Phoenix, take the Prince Road exit (exit 254) and travel southeast on the frontage road to Speedway. Turn left/east on Speedway. If you miss this exit, you can't get off until South Tucson and have to back track on the northwest frontage road to Speedway. The Sheraton is on Speedway, just east of the Speedway/Campbell intersection on the southeast corner.
