Based on the success of last year's retreats, Amma has graciously offered to continue having One Day Retreats as part of her 2008 Tour. They are being offered so that more people can take advantage of this precious time with Amma in a retreat setting without disrupting their busy schedules. The retreats will provide a precious opportunity for devotees to deepen their meditation practice and to listen to the inspirational wisdom of Amma's divine discourses.
We cordially extend Amma's invitation to join her for the one day silent meditation retreat at the Bearsville Theatre. All meditators, from beginners to those with an established practice, will benefit from the special retreat atmosphere. All will be spiritually nourished by Amma's serene presence, silent meditations, discourses and spiritual chanting.
There will be fifteen one day retreats during Sri Karunamayi's tour of North America. Please register early since these retreats tend
to fill up fast. A light lunch and snacks will be provided as part of the registration fee.

Bearsville Theater Route 212 (2 miles west of Woodstock) Take NYS Thruway to exit 19 (Kingston). Take Rt. 28 to Rt. 375 into Woodstock. Make a left into the Village. Go about 2 miles west, through the Village. The theater is on the left just before the Bearsville Bridge. Pull into the complex of buildings and restaurants; the Bearsville Theater is a big red barn-like building at the back.
