Please note:
The I-10 freeway is under construction now and all exits between Prince Road and 29th Steet are closed (maybe 8 miles-most of central Tucson). From Phoenix, take the Prince Road exit (exit 254) and travel southeast on the frontage road to Speedway. Turn left/east on Speedway. If you miss this exit, you can't get off until South Tucson and have to back track on the northwest frontage road to Speedway. The Sheraton is on Speedway, just east of the Speedway/Campbell intersection on the southeast corner.

Meet at Shopping Center Parking Lot

As there is limited parking available at the residence where the Sacred Fire Ceremony will take place, a shuttle bus will operate from the shopping center parking lot next to the Dairy Queen.
~ From I-10 east take the Prince Road exit and follow the frontage road to Speedway; turn left/east on Speedway. Take Speedway East to Pantano. Make a left on Pantano Road. Go past Wrightstown and onto Tanque Verde Road. Follow Tanque Verde East to Bear Canyon Rd.
~ At the Northeast corner of Bear Canyon Road and Tanque Verde Rd. is a shopping center with a big area behind the Wells Fargo and Dairy Queen for parking.
~ There will be a shuttle in service to take everyone from the parking lot to the Homa site. Shuttles will run from 7:30 am to 8:45 am and following the Homa.
~ The shuttle will take you to up the road to a residence for the Homa. The map and directions get you to the parking lot. However, if you feel like walking, the residence is only 8/10 of a mile from the parking lot.
~ The Sacred Fire Ceremony (homa) will be held outside so we suggest you bring a hat, folding chair or blanket to sit on.
