Hindu Temple of Atlanta March 22 - 23, 2008

Amma arrives for the weekend consecration ceremonies of the
new Shiva Temple in Atlanta.

Amma's divine presence brings tremendous energy and sweetness
to the powerful ceremony. Pictured is the main homa/puja altar with
1000 kalashas. The Vedic Priests and musicians performed many songs
from Sama Veda and other sacred texts.

Devotees make the Kamala Mudra, a yogic gesture which channels divine
energy into the crown chakra, known as the Sahasrara,
Thousand Petaled Lotus.

Amma is interviewed by TV Asia.

Early in the morning, Amma ascends the Shiva temple tower to energize
the
sacred kalasha vessels at its peak.

A helicopter arrives to shower flowers on the
newly consecrated temple.
