We need to see our beautiful human world gradually blossom. We must not apply too much force to it so that it will blossom tonight itself, overnight. We must not do that. Gradually people can blossom with the greater inner values, gradually. Let the society, human society, gradually krama vikasam. We call it krama vikasam. Krama is gradually, slowly. [Vikasam means become enlightened.] In their own way. Like the flower, it is slowly blossoming, no? Let the human society also blossom in its own way for dharma’s sake. The definite aim is dharma, the destination is truth. Let the total human world, our living world, the entire mankind gradually blossom in such a way—krunvanto visvam aryam. Then everybody, every human being, will become a great soul, a great person, a divine person. That is the wish of Sanatana Dharma. The wish of Sanatana Dharma is that each and every individual must stand on his her own feet and elevate themselves towards the highest level of truth.
Great! This is what we see in the Krishna Yajur Vedam: the Gayatri Mantra, why I need to chant the Gayatri Mantra. What is the benefit of chanting the Gayatri Mantra?* When you do this mantra your heart will become purified. Gradually you will elevate yourself, will expand yourself with all the greater values, inner values. They are the great jewels of your life: patience—patience is the greatest jewel, no?—humbleness, humility, purity, speaking truth, kindness, compassion, wisdom, inner vision, respecting others, trusting others.
If you deceive me, again I will trust you. Tomorrow if you deceive me, again I will trust you. “Why are you mad [crazy]? She is deceiving you again and again. You must not believe her.” No! I must trust her. The day will come in a person’s life when they are going to elevate. I love to trust you like anything. That is the nature of the Self. That is the nature of the Supreme Self. If a thousand times you deceive me, a thousand and one times also I trust you. Okay. If ten thousand times you deceive me, ten thousand and one times also I trust you. After eleven thousand times you are going to trust me. It depends on the maturity, no? You need to give time. Some people are very mature in the beginning of the life. Some people are not mature. After ten thousand times or eleven thousand times they are going to get that maturity. So you can give that opportunity to them. Forgive them those things. Let them elevate. Let them grow. This is mentioned in Sanatana Dharma. Have a little bit of tolerance, patience. “If they are going to deceive us, can we trust them every day? What kind of madness is this?” This is not madness. This is dharma. This is dharma.
