Jai Karunamayi!

On May 8th, the SRIM Center was officially inaugurated with an Inauguration Program and ribbon-cutting by our beloved Amma. During Amma's discourse at the center, she spoke about her vision for the future of the center, which focuses on providing unique programs that nurture all aspects of devotees' lives. Amma summed up the purpose of the SRIM Center by comparing it to a dipam, a divine flame that should illuminate all hearts and bring peace and happiness to the whole world. The name of the center is significant, as the Sanskrit bijakshara "Srim" signifies divine light, auspiciousness, contentment, and many more spiritual qualities.

During her speech, Amma discussed the importance of cows, which contain unique divine energies, and how cow protection programs along with education can help stop the killing of cows. All of Nature is intertwined, and when cow killing is halted, peace on Earth will become possible. Amma also discussed the energetic healing value of certain herbs and flowers, which will be grown in herbal medicinal gardens at the center. Amma expressed how the SRIM Center can be a center of Vedic knowledge that will help to educate people from around the world.
