The St. Louis devotees express their appreciation and gratitude for
Amma's mission and divine presence

decorated with different color flowers

Amma blesses a devotee

At the homa, many sacred and powerful stotras are recited,
and all are encouraged to join in the chanting

In ancient times, the holy rishis used to perform homas every day,
filling the world with very powerful divine vibrations

At certain key moments, offerings are made to a puja altar
that has been set up in front of the homa kunda

In this close-up of the altar, we can see the lotus seed malas that will be given to the homa sponsors, as well as the beautiful image of Divine Mother used to decorate the kalasam

In this snapshot, one can see the sacred word "Om"
in Sanskrit within the homa fire

The sacred homa is considered to be the mouth of God -
whatever is offered into the fire reaches God directly

Auspicious red and white flower petals are offered to Divine Mother

When we perform spiritual activites in front of a homa fire,
the benefit
is multiplied thousands of times

Everyone forms the lotus bud mudra while chanting,
to draw cosmic energy into the crown chakra

At Amma's homas, everyone gets to participate by
chanting and singing with Amma

It is a great blessing in life to have the opportunity
to witness a Vedic fire ceremony

The fire leaps up to receive the final offerings

Amma blesses one and all with yajna raksha,
made from ash taken from the homa kunda

A devotee has brought a traditional offering of fruits and flowers

In front of the picture of Divine Mother , we can see the
beautifully
decorated
kalasam in which Devi's energy has been invoked
