The sacred arati is offered to Amma - when we offer arati,
it is like asking Divine Mother to make our minds, our hearts,
our hands, and our entire lives very bright, like a divine flame

Amma blesses everyone with sacred vibhuti - applying vibhuti
or kumkum
at the third eye stimulates the ajna chakra
and also protects
the mind from all external forces
