Amma’s visit to Sedona

 

The Sedona Programs for the Sri Karunamayi 2005 Tour went very well. The evening program received a “full house,” with maximum capacity of the hall. Individual Blessings also were very well attended.

Amma continues to encourage us to meditate daily, strengthening our sadhana. She spoke about the need for us to work in our communities to bring peace and hope to all. Her sweet humor and love were strong and clear, with light and warmth reaching all the program attendees.

Sedona is unusually green this year because of all the rainfall, badly needed after several years of terrible drought. There was tall emerald green grass growing in the desert. We were too early to see the desert blooming, but this year is certain to bring many flowers to the landscape. Amma enjoyed the flowing creeks and rivers, noticing the high volume of water. She had a wonderful opportunity to sit quietly and meditate on the banks of a river, in an area where there is no development. Knowing that the beautiful Sedona sunset was graced by Divine Mother's presence brought peace to our hearts.
