Navaratri is fast approaching; this year it will be celebrated from October 5 to October 12.  Amma has explained that during Navaratri, Divine Mother showers Her most abundant blessings and tender, motherly love on Her children. It is the most important time during the entire year to seek Mother’s blessing by offering special prayers or conducting sacred ceremonies like homas and pujas.

During Navaratri, many sacred and powerful homas will be performed in Amma’s divine presence  at the Penusila Ashram for the welfare of the entire world. SMVA is offering everyone the opportunity to participate in these sacred homas. Sponsorship of the Navaratri homas is an excellent way to receive Divine Mother’s blessings for removing obstacles, for healing diseases and mental problems, and for achieving the highest spiritual liberation. To learn more about the significance of sponsoring the homas, as well as the different kinds of homas that will be performed, please visit the Navaratri Homas page.
